Instructions For Ribbing
Below are the step-by-step instructions for ribbing all three stitches in rows:
- Row 1: Crochet any number of chains with a certain number of turning chains depending upon the stitch you will use. i.e. 1, 1, and 2 for single crochet, slip stitch, and half-double crochet, respectively.
- Row 2: Crochet sl st, sc, or hdc in each chain across the complete row by inserting the hook in all loops.
- Row 3: Make turning chains and turn the work. Now, crochet back your selected stitches but in the back loop only of each stitch. Crochet them throughout the row.
- Row 4: Keep crocheting following step 3 or row 3.
- Row n: Keep working the back loops following step 3 until you get the desired height.
