Instructions For Crocheting Loop Stitch

Check below step-by-step instructions to learn this easy crochet stitch:

Crochet a row of foundation chains in any number plus one turning chain.
Row 1: Insert the hook in the second chain, crochet one single crochet there, and then in all other successive chains.
Row 2: Now turn the work and crochet one turning chain. Now, you will crochet the first loop stitch as follows:
* Insert the hook into the stitch to perform a single crochet. But along with pulling up the main (left) working yarn, grab the yarn on its right side (wrapped around the finger) and pull both through the stitch. Then, complete the single crochet. You will see a loop on the backside.
