- A piece of fabric (27 cm x 18 cm)
- A zipper (15 cm long)
- Fusible fleece (25 cm x 16 cm)
Prep the fabric: Take your 27 cm x 18 cm fabric piece and iron on the 25 cm x 16 cm fusible fleece to give your bag a better structure and feel.
Adding Fleece: Iron the fusible fleece onto the inner side of your fabric piece. The fleece should be slightly smaller than the fabric, allowing for a border around the edge. This crucial step gives your bag the structure and slight padding it needs while maintaining flexibility.
Zipper placement: Make a cut in the center of both the fabric and the zipper for alignment purposes.
Sew the Zipper: On one side of the fabric, sew one edge of the zipper onto one side of the cut fabric. Repeat the process on the other side with the remaining edge of the zipper and fabric.
