DIY Office Weapon For Fun

Never get bored again, as we are here with a new guide on crafting DIY office weapon in the simplest way possible. This is a DIY kid’s craft that uses a few stationery items and converts them into a very interesting weapon with a great throw. You can use this playful DIY craft to have fun with your mates, whether at the office, school, or home. Not only does the guide help you create the weapon, but it also gives you the idea to make small targets so that you won’t have to aim at living beings.
Materials Needed:
- Four led pencils
- Three small rubber bands
- One large rubber band
- Scotch tape
- A ballpoint with a lid
Tying the carbon pencils:
- Use the rubber bands to attach two of the pencils parallelly.
Making a T structure:
- Take the two remaining pencils, align them parallelly, and attach the small rubber band on these pencils at their ends. Now, take the large rubber band, loop it twice around these pencils, and attach the pair of pencils that you prepared in Step 1 onto this pair to form a ‘T’ structure.

Adding the pencil lid:
- Attach the pencil lid to the top part (vertical) of the ‘T’ structure by the same large band. This will be used to hold the arrow in place when drawing the bow.
Making the stretching rubber band:
- Loop the large rubber band around the two arms of the bow (the horizontal line of the ‘T’). This will be used to create tension and act as the longbow portion of the setup.
Adding scotch tape:
- Apply a piece of Scotch tape at the ends of the pencils to provide extra stability, ensuring the bow remains stable and the arrows launch effectively.
Prepping the arrow:
- Disassemble the ballpoint pen and extract the ink cartridge. You will use this tube arrow due to its lightweight and long, straight structure.
Testing your DIY Office Weapon:
- Test the bow by placing the ‘arrow’ in the pencil lid, drawing back the rubber band, and releasing. Make sure no people or pets are in the way when releasing the arrow.
Making the target:
- Use the Styrofoam to create your target base. Draw an outer circle first and add smaller circles within it to represent different score zones.
Safety First:
Remember, this project is for fun. Never aim at people or animals, and always supervise children when they’re using this DIY bow and arrow. If you complete these steps successfully, you should have a fun little setup for some harmless indoor target practice!
