- Take any two pieces of crochet work like granny squares.
- Make a slip-knot, but don’t attach it with the hook.
- Insert the hook into the first stitch of the crochet piece (corner of the granny square in this case).
- Now, insert the knot in the crochet hook and pull it through the stitch of the crochet piece.
- Take the crochet hook out of the knot, leaving the loop.
- Insert the hook into the first stitch of the other crochet piece and insert the back crochet hook in the slip knot. Keep the square inside the hook.
- Pull the loop also through the first stitch of the second piece or granny.
- Insert the hook into the next stitch of the first piece, Yarn over, and pull through both loops on the hook.
- Now, tall the knot on the hook slightly by pulling it upward. Then, pull the crochet back from the knot and insert it into the next stitch of the second piece. Then, insert the hook back into the knot and pull it through the stitch on the second piece. Keep repeating steps 8-9 throughout the row or side of the square.
