We may not have any little ones quite yet but that doesn’t mean that we can’t have some childlike fun on Valentine’s Day. My man loves Superman and he just so happens to be my favortie superhero too, besides my hubby of course.
I created these Superman Lollipop Valentines that can be given individually or made into a lollipop bouquet. I created the art work for these so you really could just take this simple project and run with it. It is what you make of it! It could be a large project for an entire classroom or a small one, just for that special someone like mine will be.
Let’s gather some supplies, shall we?

You will need lollipops, felt, ribbon, sticks of some sort, card stock paper for printing, scissors, a hole punch, craft or fabric glue, styrofoam, a container of some sort for the bouquet, and these Superman Valentine printables that I created:
Comic Verbs-Superman VDay
Favorite Superhero-Superman VDay
From Lois Lane-Superman VDay
Superman Logo Printable
Wishing You-Superman VDay
Cape Pattern
Once you’ve printed everything on card stock, you will want to give your hands a good workout with the scissors.

Use the cape pattern printable to cut the felt into capes.

Cut some felt strips for the superhero eye masks.

Take each strip, fold it in half, and cut a slit into both corners in order to create two triangles that resemble en eye mask.
1. Glue the Superman logos onto the capes.
2. Use your hole punch to punch a hole in the top of the capes.
3. Slide the cape up the lollipop and secure with ribbon.
4. Punch a hole into the top and the bottom of the Valentine card.
5. Slide the lollipop through the card.

If you want to create a lollipop bouquet, you can attach the comic verb cut-outs to sticks and assemble them with the lollipops into the styrofoam. You can go as big or as small as you want here!
I spray painted my styrofoam for an extra superhero effect.
See, wasn’t that easy?
Whichever kiddo you are making these for, the grown kind or the not-so-grown kind, they are sure to be delighted. Most of all because you think they are cool enough to be a superhero.

Love these! We made a girlie version last year for my little one’s classmates and they loved them. I really like how you displayed them with the verbs! Thanks for sharing with us this week at Monday Funday!
Take care,
Trish
