Peppa Pig cookies, the perfect gift for my darling little toddler. The idea came to me a couple of weeks before Valentine’s Day. I knew that the combination of two of her favorite things, cookies and Peppa Pig, would be a winning V-Day present. I was right!
I wish I could say that I made these cookies myself but I didn’t. Cookies like these take a skilled baker. I know if I baked them myself, the actual cookies would turn out good but the detailed Peppa Pig decorating . . . not so much! When I need an item like this and I can’t do it myself, I start calling local businesses.
I got a few quotes from bakers in the Dallas area but I couldn’t quite swallow the high price tag that sugar cookies come with these days. Thank you, Pinterest. The next place to look if it can’t be done locally or diy’d is always etsy in my book!
I found the cutest Peppa Pig cookies listing at an etsy shop called Busy Bee and the prices were reasonable. Sold! The cookies arrived an a few days in the cutest little box with a handwritten note and instruction card.
I’ve ordered decorated sugar cookies like these for years for birthday parties and baby showers and they’re always cute, but not always edible. I’m pleased to say that these Peppa Pig cookies from Busy Bee on etsy taste as great as they look!
I surprised Annabelle with the Peppa Pig cookies on Valentine’s morning and she was delighted! She loved all of the details. “It’s Peppa’s house, Mama, and George’s dinosaur!”
She ate a couple of the cookies and asked if she could share the rest with her Daddy and her grandparents. What a sweet little Valentine!
