Ta da! Allow me to introduce you to your new favorite “go to” cookie recipe.

It’s called a “drop” cookie because it’s just as easy as dropping your favorite candy into lightly baked cookie batter. My favorite candy of choice . . .

If you’re making homemade cookie dough, mix all of the ingredients together (except for the peanut butter cups) and roll the dough into 1 inch balls. Flatten the balls into slices.

If you’re using store bought dough, slice it into 1.5 inch slices.

Reese's Cups Cookies - The Newlywed Pilgrimage BlogBake at 350 degree for 6 to 8 minutes or until they start to turn golden. Just as soon as you pull the warm cookies from the oven, begin to lightly “drop” a Reese’s Peanut Butter cup into each cookie. The warmth of the cookie melts the chocolate which melts the peanut butter which makes these cookies absolutely undeniably divine. Indulge yourself! If you do decide to use the store bought peanut butter cookie dough, trust me when I say that no one will be the wiser. Except for you my dear. That makes you wiser.

May all of your chocolate & peanut butter dreams come true. Happy baking!

Xoxo
